Lucy B. Hoopes - An experienced editor of both fiction and nonfiction, Lucy Hoopes presents an expertise for English language spelling, grammar, and syntax that is unusually sensitive to a writer’s intent or “voice” and subject matter. She has taught anatomy, physiology, and chemistry at Sinai School of Nursing in Baltimore and taught creative and expository writing and English in secondary schools and colleges. Her extensive writing and editing experience includes medical journal articles and textbooks, novels, theses, radio scripts, banking publications, and the Rice University alumni periodical. Ms. Hoopes is an alumna of Rice University, Houston,Texas, and holds degrees in English, liberal arts, and education from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland.
